Discover Kaua'i

The island of Kaua'i is like no other island. The west side, red dirt towns of Hanapepe and Waimea still represent an idyllic slice of Hawaiian paniolo (cowboy) life. Go further and you'll eventually come to Polihale where the Na Pali cliffs command a spectacular view. At the south side, in sunny Po'ipu, you're likely to find fishermen with their 'upena (fishing net) on the lava rocks, scanning for glimpses of the papio or 'oama. The north side, Ha'ena and Hanalei changes to dark lava rock and various shades of green. The end of the road here leads to the famous, Na Pali coast.
